There are many dancing teachers out there, however it was Laura who was able to deliver exactly what we were asking for.
Kids 1st Nurseries have worked with Laura Prince (LP Dance in Education) since September 2013. There are many dancing teachers out there, however it was Laura who was able to deliver exactly what we were asking for.
The children look forward to the sessions and Grace and Cheryl work really closely with the nursery staff and understand the importance of working within the framework of the EYFS. They also offer advice to the staff when the children are rehearsing for nativity performances, graduation ceremonies and any other special occasions.
Laura and her team are professional, very experienced and highly qualified and they have been able to offer Kids 1st a truly wonderful bespoke programme that the children really enjoy but which also suits the very high expectations of our company.
Allison Winship, Head of Childcare Kids 1st Nurseries
The dance sessions are well planned…have a great link to the Early Years Foundation stage framework and were catered specifically to the needs of each age group taking part.
The children in both our toddler room and pre school had lots of fun doing the dance sessions from the early years programme. Grace and Harriet provided fun and exciting sessions that really captured the childrens’ imaginations, and were able to easily make a good connection with the children too. This was clear to see when our children kept asking when they were coming back and showed so much excitement when they arrived.

The staff are enthusiastic, professional and inspiring…
The educational dance sessions offered by Laura and her team are excellent. The staff are enthusiastic, professional and inspiring. The children love joining in and using the different props. The range of songs and actions is varied and well targeted to the children’s stage of development. We would thoroughly recommend them.

Even our most hesitant children could not wait to join in……
Our Early Years children absolutely loved taking part in a wonderful dance workshop led by Laura. The children were engaged from the very start! It was exciting and fun with varied activities and lots of familiar tunes they loved.
Even the most hesitant children could not wait to join in with butterfly dances and a whole range of wonderful activities perfectly suited to our Early Years. Laura is a charismatic lady with loads of energy and the children responded very well to her warm and enthusiastic manner. I would definitely recommend Laura and her team!

It was wonderful to watch how animated the children became during each session, see them grow in confidence. The programme made a significant impact on those children who sometimes struggle with communication.
As part of our transition process from Nursery to Reception, in the summer term we decided it was about time we introduced the children to “the hall” and thought it was a great opportunity do build upon the children’s movement skills and do some dance.
Having watched my fellow practitioner’s face suddenly fill with dread I decided to get in touch with Laura. LP Dance in Education delivered their Early Years programme, which was fantastic. Each session was well structured, professionally delivered and highly engaging for all of the children. It was wonderful to watch how animated the children became during each session, seeing them grown in confidence.
The programme made a significant impact on those children who sometimes struggle with communication. I would highly recommend LP Dance in Education to anyone working in an Early Years setting. Thanks Laura!

We have had the pleasure of working with LP Dance in Education before and they always deliver well thought out and choreographed sessions that are enjoyable and age appropriate. They are extremely accommodating and will tailor sessions to fit topics and abilities. I hope to work with them again soon and highly recommend them!
We loved having Laura and Eve in our Nursery just before Christmas to deliver what was a magical and creative Christmas themed dance session. They quickly developed an excellent rapport with the children, who were extremely excited!
The session tuned into the childrens’ interests as they got to rein act one of their favourite songs, dancing around the room expertly building snowmen to ‘Do you wanna build a snowman’. The resources were fantastic – the children got to dance around the room as reindeer donning a pair of antlers!
They engaged in imaginary snowball fights, made snow angels and soared gracefully through the air as snowmen. It was an extremely enjoyable session, which the children absolutely loved. The children look forward to their sessions each week…delivery is fun and engaging….
The children at pre-school have looked forward to their dance sessions each week with Cheryl. The delivery is fun and engaging and the children can follow routines, actions and songs whilst thoroughly enjoying themselves. I am hoping to book more sessions as children, staff and parents are keen to continue.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and it was great to see how keen they were to practice what they had learnt in the playground and show their parents, carers and other members of staff.
On behalf of all our Early Years staff I would like to thank Laura and her team for the wonderful extra curricular dance and themed dance sessions that were expertly delivered to our Nursery and Reception children. The children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and it was great to see how keen they were to practice what they had learnt in the playground and show their parents, carers and other members of staff. …an extremely well designed programme introducing pre –school children to fun, creative educational dance.
As an Early Years specialist for the past 30 years I can honestly say that this is an extremely well designed programme introducing pre –school children to fun, creative educational dance. The delivery of the programme by a team of well-trained energetic and enthusiastic professional teachers is exceptional. It’s great to see dance being introduced into the pre-school environment
My son Noah was lucky enough to attend a weekly class at Kids 1st Nursery with Grace. It was his highlight of the week and the performance of ‘Let It Go’ Grace choreographed for the children’s graduation play was wonderful. Noah loves teaching his little brother the moves he has learnt as well. It’s great to see dance being introduced into the pre-school environment.
