WHITLEY BAY CARNIVAL CREATIVE DANCE WORKSHOPS & CHOREOGPAHY
All students finished the workshop feeling very proud of their achievements.
The dance workshops delivered by Laura Prince on behalf of the Whitley Bay Carnival were excellent. Laura’s vast teaching experience is evident in her enthusiastic and professional delivery. Her ability to quickly adapt and differentiate to meet the needs of our students resulted in 100% engagement from all.
A final performance of the ‘Southlands Dangerous Crew’ was fun and very creative. Using movement ideas from Fire-eaters, tight rope walkers, sword jugglers all pulled to together creatively with a street dance element was fantastic. All students finished the workshop feeling very proud of their achievements.
Laura was also very accommodating enabling our KS 4 pupils to participate as leaders in the carnival dance workshops in some of the Primary Schools, which was a fantastic experience for them.
All in all a fantastic project and we are much looking forward to being involved in the Carnival next year.

CREATIVE DANCE WORKSHOPS AT WHITLEY BAY PLAYHOUSE
Laura had them engaged from the minute they started and held their attention in the palm of her hand throughout.
My 9yr old daughter attended the session at the playhouse. I stayed to watch, although she could of been left as most children were. What a delight to seen a mixed group of children of different ages and abilities working together. Laura had them engaged from the minute they started and held their attention in the palm of her hand throughout.
The children’s ideas were listen to and incorporated into the well-paced session.
I will be booking my daughter onto the next session and she’s already asked if she can take a friend too! Thanks Laura for a fantastic morning.

My 5-year-old daughter loved her seaside theme dance session led by the imaginative & creatively driven teacher Laura during the Easter holidays.
My 5 year old daughter loved her seaside theme dance session led by the imaginative & creatively driven teacher Laura during the Easter holidays . Made extra special by being hosted on stage at W Bay playhouse including a guided backstage tour. Fun times moving like a crab, spinning like a whippy ice cream & stretching out on the beach.

THEMED CREATIVE EVENTS IN COLLABORATION WITH EVENTSULOVE
It was well organised and professionally delivered, and the dance was structured with a story that they followed, which seemed better than the kids just following dance moves.
I took my little girl to Eventsulove’s Cinderella’s Ball event that was in conjunction with LP Dance in Education and we had such a lovely time! We went with other girls from her nursery, it was something different for them to do together outside of school, a really nice treat.

I’d definitely recommend it and will be looking out for another one to take her to.
