The lesson plans and PowerPoints that Laura has left……are fantastic especially the video clip demonstrations.
For someone who dreaded teaching dance I now feel confident and excited about future delivery. Laura’s delivery is professional, enthusiastic, educational and fun I can’t believe how much the pupils progressed and what they accomplished in such a short space of time. The lesson plans and PowerPoints that Laura has left for the school which is part of the Advisory Package are fantastic especially the demonstration video clips. This has definitely been a worthwhile investment and would highly recommend to other schools. I will look forward to working with Laura and LP Dance in Education again in the near future.

The lesson plans are very detailed and easy to follow and cater for differentiation and the PowerPoints are an added bonus.
Laura has created and delivered a fantastic six week dance scheme of work based on our topic Around the World. The scheme has been informative and enjoyable for the children as well as for me. The lesson plans are very detailed and easy to follow and cater for differentiation and the PowerPoints are an added bonus. I feel that I have been provided with more than enough support to deliver this scheme of work in the future and look forward to doing so.

Laura was approachable and friendly and listened to what I wanted to gain from the experience and tailored the lessons especially around this. The scheme of work that Laura produced was particularly useful and very detailed alongside the PowerPoint resources which I will be able to use again and adapt if necessary in the future.

I hadn’t realised before now, how seamlessly dance can be used alongside any topic. The lessons were well organised and clear to follow.
This fantastic opportunity has shown me how I can use creative dance to enhance the curriculum and provide a more enriching experience for the children.
I hadn’t realised before now, how seamlessly dance can be used alongside any topic. The lessons were well organised and clear to follow. Mrs Prince was enthusiastic and brilliant with the children, and they all felt confident to join in and give it a go.
We were encouraged to use our imaginations and be innovative, and the lessons also provided a great opportunity for the children to develop their gross and fine motor skills, hugely beneficial for some of our children from the Additional Resource Provision (ARP).
Lauren Mann, Primary School Teacher at Whitehouse Primary School, North Tyneside
The delivery of the lessons showed great demonstration by the teacher. The detailed lesson plans and accompanying PowerPoints, which also included video clips, are invaluable.
As Year 5 teacher I found the Dance advisory model extremely useful. Over the ten-week block on the History of Street and Break Dance, which also included African, Capoeira and Lindy Hop, I built up a lot of ideas that I can use within my lessons and adapt to suit other themes around dance in the future.

The children were always enthusiastic to use the basic steps from Laura and then to use their imagination to make their routine more creative. I thoroughly enjoyed the training and my confidence in teaching Dance has soared.
